Evaporative Cooling on Heat Exchangers — for Data Centers and More

~ How Fog-Based Cooling Improves Efficiency and Reduces Energy Use ~

As data centers face rising heat loads and energy costs, maintaining reliable cooling for continuous, high-performance operation is becoming increasingly demanding. Traditional systems like computer room air handlers (CRAH units), chillers, and heat exchangers must run longer and harder, driving up power consumption.

MeeFog evaporative cooling offers an efficient solution by leveraging the natural cooling effect of water evaporation to reduce air temperature with minimal energy input. Installed on the air side of outdoor heat exchangers, MeeFog systems pre-cool incoming air, increasing the temperature differential and significantly improving heat transfer efficiency. This reduces chiller runtime and overall energy use.


In addition to heat-exchanger pre-cooling, the system can be applied for:

- Inlet-Air Cooling lowers intake air temperature using evaporation and can supplement mechanical cooling systems.
