It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Sean Johnson, our purchasing specialist and dear friend, has passed away. Sean wasn’t just a part of the Dillengr team, he was a part of our family. Several people here have known him for over a decade, but his infectious smile and warm nature made him a quick friend to everyone. Not only was he always there to lift our spirits, but he was also incredibly reliable and knowledgeable in the industry. Sean was someone we all relied on and deeply cherished.

During work parties and weekends, we had the joy of also getting to know his son, Dax. He would often join his dad during these times, driving around RC cars or playing games. The last time we saw Dax, our IT guy, Malik, helped him hook up to the TV in the conference room, and several employees popped in to say hi and play games with him. It is easy to see that he has inherited Sean’s kindness and light-heartedness.

We know how much Sean cared about Dax’s future, and we want to help do everything we can to support him. Sean’s Celebration of Life will be held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 740 Edmonds Lane in Lewisville, on Saturday, September 14th at 4 pm. Everyone is welcome to come, and we encourage you to share this post with those who knew Sean.
Sean will be missed more than words can express, but we will carry his memory in our hearts, always.

This year, our Women of Flower Mound (WOFM) engineering scholarship winner was Thomas Faulkner! He will be attending the University of Texas at Austin with the goal of contributing to the exploration and colonization of Mars.

We are truly honored to sponsor such a remarkable young engineer. Thomas Faulkner is exceptionally bright, talented, and driven. When he was in the 5th grade, he gave a TEDx talk at Marcus High School titled "Dream the Extreme," where he introduced the audience to his “grandson” and showcased a futuristic vision of life, not bound by “possible” and “impossible.”

Since then, Thomas has consistently demonstrated his passion for knowledge, innovation, and engineering, along with his compassion and commitment to his community. His achievements include raising nearly $20,000 through a GoFundMe campaign for his former principal, as well as creating the "Thomas Gives Back" foundation, where he uses his allowance to support teachers, firefighters, and police officers. Moreover, he won the Moonshot portion of the NASA High School Aerospace Scholars program.

Thomas's dedication and vision make it clear that he is destined for great things. He aspires to be part of the pioneering crew that reaches Mars. We look forward to seeing what Thomas achieves in the future, and feel so honored to have had the opportunity to support him.

On this Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who served our country with valor and made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage will never be forgotten.

As we approach the end of the year, we find ourselves reflecting on those whose support has been instrumental in our success. We are truly fortunate to be surrounded by such wonderful colleagues.

This holiday season is a time for reflection, appreciation, and spending quality moments with family and friends. We hope you find warmth in the company of your loved ones and that the coming year brings you prosperity, good health, and joy.

Hello everyone, I'm thrilled to announce that I've passed my PE Exam! It's been a journey since I took my EIT Exam in 1997, as I was a "little" rusty!

After my first failed attempt a year and a half ago, I knew right away what I needed to do. I was lost on the internet with so many YouTube videos and study guides and spent many hours after work until 7, 8, 9pm, plus Saturdays, and Sundays. It was those YouTube videos that led me to Zach and my success.

I highly recommend ⚡️Zach Stone, P.E. as he played a pivotal role in my success. His Premium On-Demand course was a blend of live classes, on-demand videos, quizzes, and tests; the random problem generator is one of a kind for this subject! His website offers a comprehensive learning and collaborative one-stop shop.

I would like to give a shout-out to all my sponsors, friends, family (Bethany Kangas - my rock), colleagues, Lucas Wright for study help, and Alejandro Espinoza, MScEE BScEE PMP CSSBB SMC SDC for all his encouragement and running Dillengr, Inc. while I prepared for this test.

If I had it all to do over again (please no!) I would only use Zach and his recommended references, website material, etc… Also, can I just say that Zach is a heck of a human with whom I plan to stay in touch!

Exciting developments at Dillengr! We have expanded our capabilities with the addition of our new commercial laser engraver and busbar cutter/busbar bender. With these, we’ll be able to create switchgear mimics, nameplates, and other labeling, as well as accelerate our manufacturing process overall. We’ll have more on this very soon, so stay tuned!
