This month's heat waves are pushing regional grids close to their limits, and it's a preview of what August will look like every year going forward. As MEPFT engineers, we're seeing more clients ask us to model electrification and on-site generation not as a 'someday' upgrade, but as a resiliency requirement for next year's design.

The conversation has shifted from "should we electrify" to "how do we sequence it without blowing the capital budget." Heat pumps, battery storage, and demand response controls are no longer novelty line items, they're becoming standard scope on our mechanical narratives.

We enjoyed hearing valuable leadership and industry insights from an impressive panel of veteran leaders who continue to make a meaningful impact across healthcare and the built environment.

🎉🏗️ Celebrating a Major Milestone for the Seagoville Community! 🏗️🎉
B&H Engineers was honored to attend the official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Seagoville PK-8 Campus, standing alongside KAI Enterprises, Dallas Independent School District, and our valued project partners as we celebrated the next chapter with the community.

This exciting project will serve approximately 800 students and is designed to foster innovation, curiosity, and connection through STEM-focused learning, biophilic design, and engaging outdoor educational spaces. Scheduled to open in 2027, the new campus represents more than a school, it is a lasting investment in the future of Southeast Dallas.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of a project that will create meaningful impact for generations to come. Moments like these are a testament to what can be achieved through strong partnerships, shared vision, and a commitment to transforming communities.
