A quick update!

Hello Friends!

This is Kevin, I had to take a few days off, which is not really my thing, but it was due to a situation where I received a pretty severe concussion and needed to be hospitalized for a series of tests and then required rest.

I’m always on the go, so this past week+ has been difficult. I’m cleared for work again so everything is getting back to something normal.

I’m a very private person, but I wanted to let everyone know the reason for any delays.

6.37lbs complete. First full T7075-T651 aluminum build.

It’s time to address the weight issue that has followed aluminum instruments of all types around. Don’t get me wrong, they ARE heavy, but with today’s cutter technology, material quality and precision machines there’s absolutely no reason an aluminum guitar can’t weigh under 7.00lbs. Full T7075-7651 construction, tap tuned with two piece channeled neck. Weight always went with aluminum guitars, now with the exception of acrylic bodied EGCs, weight will no longer be a factor for consideration. These are perfectly balanced and the Chessie just might break the 6.00lbs threshold(5.98). And even at this low weight, the strength of the 7075 aluminum is still substantially stronger than a 6061 version in the larger dimensions. We removed all the unnecessary extra mass and gained access to a much broader ranged instrument as a result. More on this shortly. Machinists gray powder coat and two RWRP high gain single coils. King Buzzo has some new digs. 24.75 scale acrylic TT2 with Lexan pickguard, Buzz’s electronics and pickup configuration with low output neck humbucker and 2 volume and 2 tone with 3 way toggle. Full neck through T6061-T651 neck with Gotoh tuners and Jescar stainless steel frets.
