Completed a rapid turn around of 10 sets made from 4140 HT with no drawing. Customer was able to use their digital optical comparator to get us some dimensions so we could complete these for them.

Another breakdown! Today we repaired 2 drive couplers for a directional boring machine. We removed part of a tapered thread that was broke off in both components.

Saved a customer from a dead stop! Cable boring company sheared off 4 bolts in their drill and needed them out so they could work tomorrow. We were able to save 4 of the 5 holes. The 5th hole was too far gone. They will return to get that hole fixed after they get caught up. Customer told me they only got 60 feet drilled all week with all the problems they were having. Hopefully tomorrow is better for them. Thank you to Jerry Streets for the referral!

Emergency Break Down!

Yes, we still make emergency repair calls. Today, we had to manufacture a broken hydraulic block. The old block had a manufacturing defect that started to show up as a leak and ultimately cracked. We built a replacement out of steel at the customer's request. An hour and 45 min start to finish installed, and the customer was back in business!

Haven't posted any updates in a while so I figured I would start with this fixture. This is a 2nd weld fixture that I helped manufacturer quite a few years back. We had to reverse engineer off the origional because there were no drawings available for this one.
