A career rooted in agriculture often starts early.
For Ross P., Breckenridge, Minnesota store manager, it began behind the wheel of a 1935 John Deere Model B, the first tractor he ever drove and one that remains in his family today.
Ross started working early too, taking a job on a farm while still in seventh grade. Those early years built an appreciation for showing up, doing the work and being part of something bigger than himself.
Ross got his start with RDO through the John Deere Parts Program at NDSCS in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Without a sponsoring dealership from home, his instructor connected him with the RDO Breckenridge store. That connection led to a sponsorship, a part time role after class and a career that has now spanned 25 years.
Looking back, Ross says the best part of his career has been working alongside his team and serving customers year after year. He’s a firm believer that the best results come when people support each other and work toward the same goal.
