Robert Wayne “Bob” Frazer, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025. Born on June 2, 1951, Bob was one of eight children in the Frazer family and grew up surrounded by the love and energy of a big household.
He graduated from George Washington High School in 1969. After school, he began his career as a typesetter with Weimer before marrying the love of his life, Susan, in 1973. Together they welcomed their daughter, Heather, in August 1974, who became the joy of his life.
In 1991, Bob began working for his father-in-law as a machinist at R&M Machine, where he remained until 2008. He then joined his sister-in-law and brother-in-law at Rayco Machine and Engineering, where he continued to work faithfully until 2025.
Bob was known for his intelligence, humor, and kindness. He loved fishing and treasured time spent outdoors. Above all, he was immensely proud of his grandson, Robbie, who brought him endless joy.
Those who knew Bob will remember his quick wit, warm heart, and the way he made people laugh. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife Susan, daughter Heather, grandson Robbie, and his siblings Johnny, Bill, Mary, Anna, and Dan, along with many loving friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Betty, and his siblings Sam and Charlene.
“And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:13–14 (NLT)
In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations in Bob’s memory to The Gathering Together, Plainfield, Indiana.
We love you, Bobalo. See you again soon 💙
