Reflecting back on one of Indiana’s favorite summer events – the Indiana State Fair! An iconic annual event since 1852, the Indiana State Fair, is a favorite of Hoosiers and thousands of out-of-towners. And this year, it was exciting to share the State Fair’s vision come to fruition with the new modernized entry on the north side off of Fall Creek Parkway. The new Gate 5 entry with its tall red columns against the Indiana sky are visible along Fall Creek Parkway from as far north as Keystone, welcoming visitors to the Indiana State Fairgrounds and ushering them into the fairgrounds through the new ticketing gate and guest experience. Additional landscape architectural enhancements are provided along Fall Creek Parkway to enhance the pedestrian and guest experience both along Fall Creek itself and from within fairgrounds, providing improved circulation and improved drainage. It’s an exciting time for the State Fair. Next up – continued guest experience and drainage improvements to Gate 6!
