🔥 More American-made suspension parts getting the shiny red powder coat that you know and love...

Our hardworking American crew in our Powder Coat Department makes sure all of BMR's powder coated parts get a shiny red or black hammertone finish before getting assembled and shipped to your door. All of this is proudly done in our Seffner, FL facility before heading over to our Lakeland facility for final assembly.

Which color do you prefer your suspension and chassis parts in? Red or black hammertone?

🔧 TECH TIP TUESDAY: What Is Anti-Squat?

Ever wonder why some cars seem to plant the rear tires when you hit the throttle, while others squat and struggle for traction? That’s where anti-squat comes into play.

Anti-squat is a suspension geometry characteristic that seeks to limit the amount of compression, or ‘squat’, the rear suspension experiences while under acceleration. This is particularly important in drag racing situations where weight gets transferred to the rear of the vehicle while trying to maintain maximum grip. Increasing anti-squat can help reduce rear suspension compression, increase traction, and greatly improve the consistency of your race car when you mash the throttle.

However, caution must be taken to not overdo it. Too much anti-squat can create a less stable car in the top end, meaning that finding the right balance between consistency and performance is key. Suspension items such as coilovers, adjustable control arms, and suspension mounting points can be used to change rear suspension geometry and anti-squat. The right setup depends on the vehicle, suspension design, and intended application.

🔥 FEATURED FRIDAY! 🔥

This week, we’re showing off this 2008 Mustang V6 that got a serious transformation! Cindy Coyote-swapped this S197 and made it a whole different animal, transforming this pony from a V6 cruiser to a Coyote-based show car that’s turning heads wherever it goes.

Naturally, BMR Suspension was trusted to help put the power down! 💪 This Mustang is equipped with a BMR adjustable Panhard rod, adjustable upper control arms, and a polyurethane motor mount kit to give this Mustang the performance-focused foundation it deserves.

From the Coyote swap to the suspension upgrades, Cindy has taken this S197 to the next level, and we’re loving every bit of it. Thank you for trusting us with your build, and we look forward to seeing you out at a show soon!

📸 Got a BMR-equipped build that you want to show off? Shoot us a DM for a chance to be chosen for the next Featured Friday post!

🐎 Two old ponies. One R&D department.

Our R&D Department has been working hard on these two classics, designing and test-fitting a whole new lineup of suspension and chassis parts for first-gen Mustangs.

Designed and manufactured right here in the USA, these first-gen Mustang parts will bring more capability and performance to some of the most iconic cars on the road.

While we're still putting the finishing touches on this lineup, let's just say these old ponies have a few new tricks coming. 😉
