Learning went beyond the classroom during the Wildcat Experience!

Hosted by the Howard County Stormwater District, this educational outreach event gave local high school students hands-on opportunities to explore stormwater management, water quality, and environmental science through creek monitoring, macroinvertebrate sampling, and water chemistry testing.

BF&S is proud to support Howard County in helping students better understand local water issues and the importance of protecting our watersheds.

We enjoyed connecting with students at yesterday’s Purdue Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department Company Expo and Welcome Back Picnic!

With Kameryn and Chris both alumni of the program, and Claire currently in her senior year, our team appreciated the opportunity to share their experiences, discuss students’ education and career paths, and introduce them to BF&S.

A multi-million-dollar upgrade is now complete at Elkhart Municipal Airport, a project city leaders say will help the airport grow for years to come.

Last week, BF&S was proud to joined City of Elkhart, Indiana - Municipal Government, airport, and community leaders for a recent ribbon cutting celebrating the completion of significant improvements at the airport, including runway upgrades and two new T-hangar buildings providing ten additional spaces for aircraft.

These investments help strengthen the airport’s infrastructure, support general aviation, and position this important regional asset for continued growth.

Congratulations to the Elkhart Municipal Airport and everyone involved in bringing these improvements to completion!

We recently gathered across several of our offices to celebrate the progress we’ve made toward our company goals and milestones!

At our Indy office, the rain cleared up just in time to head outside to the Village Green for putting, co****le and a little ping pong!

Thanks to everyone who joined us across our offices and helped make the celebrations a success. It’s always a good day when we can step away from our desks, connect with coworkers, and celebrate together!

Last week marked an exciting milestone at Purdue University with the ribbon cutting for South Hall, the University’s newest residence hall.

The celebration was the culmination of more than three years of study, design, and construction. Standing eight stories tall and ready to welcome nearly 900 students this fall, South Hall is part of Purdue’s long-term commitment to expanding on-campus housing and creating strong residential learning communities.

BF&S was proud to be part of the talented team of professionals who helped bring Purdue’s vision to life. Our Lafayette Water Resources and Site Design teams provided civil engineering design for wastewater and stormwater utilities and site development in support of the project.

Congratulations to Purdue University and the entire project team on reaching this exciting milestone.
