2020 Mercedes Sprinter rear suspension refresh at your Adventure Van HQ.

This Sprinter stopped in for rear shocks, Van Compass Baja Brackets, and install. The customer arrived with a broken upper shock bolt—we extracted it cleanly, then reinforced the setup and installed fresh rear shocks so it’s ready for more miles.

Van Compass Baja Brackets – Features & Benefits

The factory Sprinter rear upper shock mount uses a single-shear bolt. Under repeated stress from washboard roads, rough trails, and loaded adventure use, that bolt can stretch or shear right at the chassis. The Baja Bracket fixes that by converting the mount to double shear.

• Captures both sides of the upper shock bushing and eliminates the fulcrum effect that snaps the factory bolt

• Precision laser-cut and CNC-bent 3/16” formed steel with a machined tubular brace that spreads the shock load across the frame rail

• Powder-coated for durability and clean looks

• Works with stock or aftermarket shocks and stock or lifted vans

It’s straightforward insurance so the rear suspension stays solid whether you’re on Midwest highways or heading farther off the pavement. Pairing it with new rear shocks gives better control, ride quality, and peace of mind on the next trip.

2015 Toyota Tacoma rolled in ready for trail protection, and we got it dialed in. We installed the Cali Raised Trail Edition Rock Sliders (no kick-out) in a durable powder coat finish.

These sliders give you solid rocker panel protection against rocks and trail obstacles while keeping a clean, tucked-in look. The no-kick-out design helps with clearance and avoids snagging, and the powder coat finish adds long-term corrosion resistance plus a sharp look that holds up off-road.
