With every year that comes with the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, we become more blessed to have the opportunity to work on more unique projects that push the boundaries of our creativity.

We're not the only ones working! The Pike's Peak Hill Climb is an immense effort from all parties involved, and we're stoked to be a part of it. Congrats to Kurt Dieker for making his premiere run up the mountain with a time of 10:57 in his 1965 Fastback. We can't wait to see what the future holds for this car. Be sure to check out his socials at: https://zurl.co/1b6PG

Shout out to Cooper Sloan at Verus Engineering for getting these shots for us!

Rear Diffusers all day, every day. Can you identify the different makes and models? 👀

Rear diffusers work to increase aero efficiency by controlling expansion at the tail end of the car. By controlling expansion and reducing the amount of high-pressure air coming out of the back, you are able to reduce drag. Furthermore, the pressure differential between high-pressure air coming off the trunk/ decklid of the car and the lower pressure from the controlled expansion on the rear diffuser creates downforce.

A lot of people associate aero components with a drag penalty, but with a rear diffuser, you get the best of both worlds. A rear diffuser is a no-brainer in our opinion, so long as it's done right.

At Verus Engineering, we love rear diffusers not just for being great as an aero kit component, but as a standalone choice as well.

At a positive 3.6-degree angle change along with the Dive Plane Kit (Ventus 1), you can expect to see a 150 lbs downforce increase at around 120 mph.

The Ventus 1 Configuration for the FL5 Honda Civic Type-R is our entry point into the aero market for this platform. We are looking forward to showing more.

The Verus Engineering UCW Rear Wing was specifically designed for the Mk5 Toyota Supra enthusiast who wants more rear-end downforce. The wing has the capability of operating and generating downforce from 0 to 15 degrees of angle of attack. This allows the wing to balance out a variety of front aerodynamic kits. As part of our Ventus 3 aerodynamic kit, the rear wing adds a significant amount of downforce to the car to help reduce lap times and increase corner speed.

Our CFD data and our real-world experimental data match up quite well. The wing hit all the major goals we set forth to achieve first in our CFD simulations and then with our real-world testing. The strong correlation between CFD data and real-world testing validates both our CFD analysis approach and the wing’s performance.

We now offer Dive Planes for the FL5 Honda Civic Type-R.

Increase front-end grip by shifting the aero balance forward. Our Dive Planes, along with our AOA kit, complete the Ventus 1 package for the FL5.

When you run our positive 3.6-degree angle adjustment from the AOA kit along with the Dive Planes, you can expect to see a 150lb increase in downforce at around 120 mph.

Throwback to the Ken Block Hoonipigasus project in collaboration with and .

What started as a bolt-on aero kit project quickly became a lot more daunting. Unbeknownst to many, this project was completed in about a 5-month time span alongside and . The biggest challenge of this project was not just the short time frame, but running aero analysis on concepts of a car that weren't yet solidified.

While the Chassis was being built by Scarbo, Verus was designing the body of the car alongside BBI while they worked on the drivetrain. Everyone's simultaneous efforts evidently came together to create one of the most unique Porsches that Pike Peak has ever seen.

Rest in peace, Ken Block.
