Our UCW Rear Wing is built for the S550 Mustang owner who wants serious rear downforce.

Capable of generating and withstanding 500+ lb of downforce, the airfoil was optimized using the ANSYS Adjoint Solver for improved efficiency (L/D). It adjusts from 0 to 15 degrees angle of attack, so it can balance out a significant front aero package, and our real-world testing validated the CFD results.

The wing element is 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon fiber, autoclave cured with an automotive high-gloss clear, paired with machined billet aluminum uprights and trunk mounts and stainless hardware throughout. We used in-house scan data for a near-OEM fit and finish, and on the GT350R it bolts to the factory trunk using the existing holes.

Not on a GT350R? Our new Wing Dogbone Support Plate Kit lets the UCW Rear Wing fit any 2015-2023 S550 Mustang coupe (not compatible with convertibles). It's bolt-on for the GT500 Carbon Fiber Track Pack, and other models require drilling, with the drill template included in the wing kit.

New Product for ALL S550 Mustangs.

Previously exclusive to the GT350R and unavailable from Ford, this Wing Dogbone Support Plate Kit allows our UCW Rear Wing Kit to be installed on any 2015-2023 S550 Mustang coupe (not compatible with convertibles). We reverse-engineered the OEM parts and built our own in aluminum, replacing the factory plastic components. The units are 3D printed in aluminum, resulting in a perfect fit and superior strength.

Please note: Non-GT350R installs require drilling. The drill template is included with the UCW Rear Wing Kit.

If you are new to HPDE and breaking personal records isn't your main priority, our UCW Rear Wing offerings are a safe place to start, bringing you more tail-end grip and predictability on turns.
Verus Engineering started the rear wing design with a clean-slate approach, utilizing our own airfoil profile created using ANSYS' adjoint solver. As a result, we were able to create a wing that is highly efficient while generating significant downforce appropriate for the typical track day driver and street enthusiast. By utilizing a swan-neck mounting style, we keep efficiency high by feeding the wing clean airflow, unlike typical bottom-mount rear wings.

The Ventus 1 - Drag Variant is a low-drag aero configuration targeting those who visit the drag strip with their GT350. This means more emphasis on rear-end stability and no front splitter for increased straight-line speed.

This configuration consists of our:
- Fender Evacuation Kit
- Flat Underbody Panel Kit
- Rear Diffuser
- Vortex Generators

The drag wing reduces the size and energy of the wake region behind the car. The top image shows the wake generated by a GT350R (with wing). The bottom image shows the Verus Engineering drag package. Point 1 shows the difference in wake size and color (magnitude) between the two. The darker blue means lower pressure, which is
acting to pull the car rearward. Point 2 draws special attention to the extremely dark region behind the GT350R wing. Point 3 notes the impact of the Vortex Generators on the trailing edge of the roof.
