Cripe is a client and project focused multidisciplinary Employee-Owned design firm specializing in Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Surveying. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Greater Indianapolis. The selected candidate will support design, project coordination, and ex*****on efforts in alignment with Cripe’s diverse portfolio of work. Responsibilities include collaboration with team members, clients, and partners; contributing to design solutions; preparing presentations and project documentation; and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. The role offers opportunities for innovation and impact across the Community, Multi-Tenant, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors.

Here’s what you need to bring:
-Proficiency in design and project management tools relevant to the architecture and design field
-Strong skills in teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication
-Ability to develop creative, innovative design solutions that align with client needs
-Experience in researching and effectively utilizing industry standards and practices
-Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to meet project deadlines
-Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and sustainability practices related to design and construction
-Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field preferred.
-Licensure, certifications, or active pursuit of professional credentials is a plus
-Experience working in collaborative, fast-paced environments is a valuable asset

What do you find most fulfilling in your role?
I enjoy working on a wide variety of projects and working on the project from the proposal phase all the way to completion.

What is a fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I got a hole-in-one at Barton Hills Country Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would like to go to Paris to see the Louvre.

What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?
Playing 18 holes of golf and fishing.

What’s your favorite part about working at Cripe?
I love working with all of the current people and the people I have worked with during my 32 years at Cripe.

Cripe is seeking a motivated individual with a background in accounting to serve as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator. This position reports to the Finance Operations Manager and will work closely with multiple Project Managers to support and emphasize the financial health of our projects and company. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator position requires a hands-on team player that takes charge in ensuring we are invoicing with accuracy, collecting our billables, and maintaining a positive relationship with our clients.

Introducing, our March Employee Spotlight - Joyce Blaker!

⭐ What do you find most fulfilling in your role?
What I find most fulfilling in my role as an Office Manager—especially while supporting the finance department and researching boundary surveys—is being able to bring clarity and structure to complex information.

⭐ What is a fun fact most people don’t know about you?
A fun fact most people don’t know about me is that I absolutely love spending time in my craft room—it’s my creative escape. I also cherish any time I get with my children and grandchildren; family is everything to me. And on the fun side, I’m a huge Godzilla fan! I never get tired of watching those movies.

⭐If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? If I could travel anywhere, I’d actually choose to stay right here in the United States. I’ve never had a strong desire to travel the world because our own country has so much beauty and so many amazing places to explore. One place I haven’t been yet but would love to visit is Colorado—the mountains, the fresh air, and the scenery just look incredible. One dream experience of mine would be to see a humpback whale leap out of the ocean. It’s amazing how such a huge creature can move its body with so much grace and power.

⭐What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?
My favorite way to spend a weekend is really enjoying the simple things that make me happy. I love spending time with my family—whether that’s relaxing with my husband or enjoying moments with my children and grandchildren. In the summer, one of my favorite things is cutting the grass—there’s something peaceful and satisfying about it.

⭐What’s your favorite part about working at Cripe?
My favorite part about working at Cripe is the people and the environment we create together. I truly enjoy being part of a team that values collaboration, communication, and supporting one another. I also appreciate the opportunities to learn and grow—whether it’s gaining new skills, taking on different responsibilities, or being trusted to contribute in meaningful ways.
