Today has been a bittersweet day. Tomorrow marks the 30th anniversary of Dad and I starting Key Sheet Metal yet today marks the 9th anniversary of the day Dad left us and gained his wings. Never did I imagine 30 years ago we would be here now. My thoughts then were to just help provide you a way to retire and enjoy life after all the hard work you put in over the years. I never imagined it would last this long but still the business would not be here today without everything you instilled in me. Every year on this day for 9 years I receive a text message from a customer that dad had worked for 20 plus years before we started and we continued working for till he retired and sold his business years ago. It goes:

Hope that you’re doing well and carrying on his legacy.
Throughout all the ups and downs I think we have done well to maintain that legacy you and I started. I wanted to end the last day of year 29 the way we started day one 30 years just you and me talking a little shop. I know you didn’t drink much but when you did Jack Daniel’s was your thing. I thought it better to honor your Kentucky heritage with a home state brew. A toast to you Dad. Till we meet again I hope we can continue to honor your legacy and you can continue to look down on us and say “Keep working hard guys. Your doing a good job” ❤️❤️
