There is a noticeable difference between these two groups of wheat plants. The plants on the left were grown utilizing Nutrisphere and Avail and the plants on the right were not. The color and head size are noticeably different. If you have any questions or would like to speak with an APA about the benefits of using Nutrisphere and Avail, please call one of our Frenchman Valley Agronomy Locations.

All of here at FVC would like to thank everyone that stopped by yesterday for the Traveling Children's Museum in Chappell, NE. We would also like to thank the Nebraska Wheat Growers Association for bringing out the Mobile Baking Lab and baking cinnamon rolls and cookies for everyone in attendance. The Mobile Baking Lab operates with support from the Nebraska Wheat Board and ConAgra Foods, and bakes all wheat foods with Ultragrain flour. (Photo courtesy of Matt Kamla)

Update on our Wheat 3 Video Posted April 17th:
We checked the field again this morning. As you can see with the photos below, the beards are out on the plants and with the forecasted frost and temperatures this weekend (if we hit 28 degrees for two hours) the potential of injury is increasing. If you have any questions about the current wheat crop, please contact your local FVC and speak with any of our APA's.
