Check out one of our latest automation projects for the only Cobalt Mining Operation in the United States!

Description of work: This pump back system is an EPA and Forest Service mandated effort for prevention of contaminates into the water table and water shed streams. The system that CST integrated pumps water from the very bottom of the mine site to the very top, where the waste water treatment plant is located. It is a complicated system of 13 wells and 6 pump stations. This system has a total elevation gain of 1500 feet from pump station 1 to the Waste Water Treatment Plant. The primary use of the pump back system: it pumps contaminated mine water from the mining operation inside the mountain to the waste water treatment plant on top of the mountain. This system guarantees compliance with strict government environmental regulations and a clean environment in the Salmon-Challis National Forrest. This is part of our ongoing effort to provide top-notch automation for the only Cobalt Mining Operation in the United States.
