Wifco Steel Products Inc seeks an experienced Regional (Outside) Sales Representative (OSR) with a hunter’s mentality and a proven track record in the oil and gas industry. Preference is given to candidates who can take Wifco’s manufacturing to the next level in other market segments.

The ideal candidate will reside within their geographically assigned territory covering the Permian Basin Southwestern Texas Region. This area includes: Midland, Odessa, San Angelo, Abilene, Big Spring, and the Lubbock area, along with their surrounding communities.

Willingness to Travel: Minimum 50% of the time (expected), with a realistic expectation of 75% (preferred), including the occasional overnight travel required, up to and between 25%-50% of the time (based on the remote work locations).

We are an experienced, reliable Regional Sales Representative (RSR) with a hunter's mentality and a proven track record in the oil and gas industry. Preference is given to candidates who can elevate Wifco’s manufacturing into other market segments.

Working from the Wifco Steel Products Inc Corporate Office in Hutchinson, KS, when not traveling throughout their assigned territory in the Kansas and Nebraska regions. Preferred candidate based out of Reno County area, but candidates from McPherson, Sedgwick, Harvey, Rice, Stafford, Pratt, and Kingman Counties will also be considered.

The key responsibilities of this position include on-site, in-person work at customer locations—NO remote or out-of-state applicants will be considered. Traveling at least 50% of the time, including overnight stays (up to 25% based on the remote work locations) and meeting with existing and prospective clients at job sites, preparing and delivering sales proposals and presentations, maintaining relationships and negotiating deals, and collaborating with management on positioning and expanding Wifco’s manufacturing capabilities. Strong sales and negotiation skills are a must. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is key.

We are an experienced Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR) with a hunter's mentality and a proven track record in industrial markets, preferably oil and gas.

The Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR) will be based within the Permian Basin Southwestern Texas Region (Abilene, Midland, Big Spring, San Angelo, Odessa, Lubbock, or surrounding communities) and will drive growth across existing accounts and new market segments.

This Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR) will travel 50%–75% of the time, meet clients at job sites, present solutions, negotiate pricing, and close business, while partnering with management on positioning and expansion of Wifco’s manufacturing capabilities.
