We are an experienced, reliable Regional Sales Representative (RSR) with a hunter's mentality and a proven track record in the oil and gas industry. Preference is given to candidates who can elevate Wifco’s manufacturing into other market segments.
Working from the Wifco Steel Products Inc Corporate Office in Hutchinson, KS, when not traveling throughout their assigned territory in the Kansas and Nebraska regions. Preferred candidate based out of Reno County area, but candidates from McPherson, Sedgwick, Harvey, Rice, Stafford, Pratt, and Kingman Counties will also be considered.
The key responsibilities of this position include on-site, in-person work at customer locations—NO remote or out-of-state applicants will be considered. Traveling at least 50% of the time, including overnight stays (up to 25% based on the remote work locations) and meeting with existing and prospective clients at job sites, preparing and delivering sales proposals and presentations, maintaining relationships and negotiating deals, and collaborating with management on positioning and expanding Wifco’s manufacturing capabilities. Strong sales and negotiation skills are a must. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is key.
