Rogers Group recently welcomed neighbors, community partners, and guests to the grand opening of our new Port of Mobile Aggregate Resale Yard. The event marked an exciting milestone as we continue expanding our ability to serve customers throughout the region.

Alabama State Representative Adline Clark, District 2 Councilwoman Samantha Ingram, other local leaders, and attendees gathered to celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tour the new facility, and enjoy food and refreshments while learning more about the products and services offered at the location. The open house provided an opportunity for guests to connect with the Rogers Group team and see firsthand how the new yard will support the growing needs of the construction and infrastructure markets along the Gulf Coast.

The Port of Mobile Aggregate Resale Yard strengthens our distribution network and enhances our ability to deliver quality aggregate products efficiently to customers throughout the area. We appreciate everyone who joined us for this special occasion and helped make the grand opening a success.

We look forward to serving our customers and building strong partnerships in the community from our newest location for years to come.

Rogers Group had a large presence at the 25th Annual Octoberfest, held at the St. Florian Park and Walking Trail in Florence, Alabama. This marked the 7th year RGI has set up an interactive booth and served as an event t-shirt sponsor.

Throughout the festival, we hosted a community tent where attendees could stop by for giveaways, learn more about our company, and explore several pieces of equipment on display. Thanks to equipment provided by TEC and Cat, both kids and adults had the opportunity to get an up-close look at new machinery and take photos. Our team also handed out hard hats and candy to children, while adults received some RGI swag.

We enjoyed spending the weekend with community members and answering questions. Many of the spectators and participants travel the roads that we build and pave in North AL and Southern TN, and we received a lot of great comments on the work RGI is doing throughout the area.

Thank you to the Town of St. Florian, event organizers, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by our tent. Events like Oktoberfest provide a great opportunity to strengthen community connections and celebrate the people and traditions that make the Shoals area special.

Special thanks to Vinnie and Brandon for organizing the setup this year, and to those who worked at the booth on Saturday: Tara Adkison (Tuscumbia CSR), Lacey Wilson (Tuscumbia Admin), Brandon White (Traffic Control Specialist), Michael Wilkes (Ala SMA QC Manager), Vinnie Wilson (Ala Mechanic), & his wife Misty.

Our team was pleased to participate in the Muscle Shoals Career Academy Career Fair on September 22, where students in grades 9-12 met with employers to learn about future career options.

During the event, Rogers Group representatives spoke with students about careers in the aggregates and construction materials industry, sharing insight into the skills, training, and experiences that support our operations. Students had the chance to ask questions, learn more about the industry, and explore potential career paths available close to home.

We appreciate Muscle Shoals Career Academy for hosting this event and helping connect students with local businesses and organizations. Rogers Group is proud to support and invest in the next generation of skilled professionals.

Rogers Group’s Port of Mobile Aggregate Resale Yard was pleased to donate a 55-inch television to Whitley Elementary School in Prichard, Alabama.

As part of our ongoing community involvement, Rogers Group partners with Whitley Elementary in a variety of ways to support its students, families, and staff. The donated television will serve as a door prize during the school’s parent-teacher conferences in October, with every parent in attendance registered for a chance to win.

We’ve been busy celebrating Trucker Appreciation Week at many of our locations throughout Rogers Group! While our appreciation extends throughout the year, this week gives us a special opportunity to recognize and thank the hardworking truck drivers who help keep our industry and communities moving every day.

From early mornings and long hauls to safely delivering load after load, their dedication, reliability, and commitment are truly valued. We appreciate every driver who comes through our gates and helps ensure materials get where they need to be.

Thank you for all you do, and Happy Trucker Appreciation Week! 🚛

Eight straight zero-citation MSHA inspections is something worth celebrating!

We're incredibly proud of the Lacey's Spring crew and the standard they continue to set. Great job, and as always, a big thank you to Tractor & Equipment Company for firing up the grill and helping us celebrate.
