Instead of just slapping some weld into it like most people would, I take my time to do it right so I don’t have to do it again. For example, in the pictures below, I grind out the old weld completely and preheat it to get a stronger weld. Then after welding, post-heat it to slow down the cooling process to prevent cracking.

No matter what job it is. it’s getting done right the first time.👌

This was a fun one , Cast Aluminum for this bench repair. Alignment of original pieces and square up the mounting locations. Although cast is very unpredictable this turned out amazingly solid. Hope to see it around for a while!
