🚜 A Special Visit from Kubota Engineers!

On Tuesday we had the opportunity to welcome engineers from Japan representing Kubota Tractor Corporation

During their visit as you can see the engineers conducted an in-depth review of two of our customers’ Kubota KX040 Mini Excavators. Members of our Hopf Equipment sales and service teams were on hand to assist throughout the evaluation and share their knowledge and experience.

It was a great opportunity to work directly with Kubota’s engineering team and see firsthand their commitment to evaluating equipment in real-world working conditions.

Thank you to our customers for making their equipment available for this review and to the Kubota engineers for taking the time to visit!

📸 Take a look at some photos from their visit and equipment evaluations!

We were honored to welcome a special visitor today—92-year-old Gene “Jiggs” Miller!

Jiggs heard that the 1974 IH 1066 he farmed with many years ago had been traded to us here at Hopf Equipment back in 2021. After learning that we restored it into the 1974 5 Millionth IH 1066 Replica, he asked if he could come see it. Mike was happy to take him back to the farm shop for a visit.

He was impressed with the transformation. He looked for the deep scratch in the hood (which, of course, had been carefully repaired). Then he walked around to the rear and, after seeing that the remote couplers had been updated to the new ISO style, he smiled and said, “YEP, that’s her!”

He also commented that the ROPS and canopy were a nice addition. When Mike asked if he’d like a picture to send to his grandkids, Jiggs was kind enough to agree.

What a great moment connecting a lifetime of farming with a beautifully restored piece of history!
