Abell Custom Fabrication When quality matters. It truly was only a matter of time before he’d open the doors to Abell Custom Fabrication in 2019.

In his 25+ years in construction as a general contractor, Brett Abell had many requests to create pieces that were impossible to find in stores. Time and time again, he was able to take his client’s vision, usually expressed through words and if lucky, a drawing on a napkin or a picture from Pinterest, and create the exact piece his client had in mind. After finding enjoyment in the challenge and

opportunity to use his talents and expertise to create a vision like nobody else could, he decided to dedicate more time to specialized projects. His welding shop has always existed and often housed projects, but today it serves an even bigger purpose—to deliver the piece you’ve always imagined but could never find.

Big shout out to John and Sara Schroeder for giving Abell Custom Fabrication the opportunity to be a part of their backyard paradise!!
Custom railings, weld constructed, with the durability of a powder coat finish!
The top caps were made from eastern cedar and finished with multiple coats of spar urethane to withstand the abuse of Mother Nature!

Raise your hand if you want to be pampered at this salon!🖐

Carla Brown-Popp recently opened True Salon and asked us to help create pieces that provide functional and beautiful spaces. This project wears the grey stain we previewed in October. Wow, Carla really nailed the design!

The ladder shelf displays products in a way that minimizes space and maximizes the visibility of the product. How cute is that perfectly-sized round side table that allows clients to conveniently place personal belongings? The solid-wood cabinet and shelf equip the shampoo station for efficiency and safety. True Salon's storage closet also features a custom, adjustable design to hold additional supplies.

LOOK HOW TALL I AM!

We have a closet in the upstairs hallway that used to be adorned with a cherished laminated paper growth chart. Adding markings to this chart became a family event that included studying and comparing the height at each age telling stories as we passed some of the marks. What fun, joy-filled memories that chart evokes. It truly is the little things in life!

Have to admit though, we are loving this new growth stick design. This one features a moving level to ensure an accurate measure from the crown of the head. (Probably the most important feature as this was always an area ripe for debate during measures in our house. "Are you sure the pencil was level, Dad? I don't think you got the top of my head." Precision is important you know!) The markings are burned into the wood. A permanent marker is a perfect tool to record those priceless childhood details directly on the stick.
