It's always a blast when we get invited out to the jobsite to see what our customers are up to!

This time it was a residential paving job, and it's a good reminder of how much the right equipment matters on jobs like this. Tight access? Wider paving applications? Higher production demands? Choosing the right machine for the work can make all the difference.

We got to watch the LeeBoy 8520C put down a clean, hot mat with Billy Chastain out in South Carolina. Fresh asphalt, tight controls, zero wasted motion. That's what it looks like when the right paver meets a crew that knows how to use it!

The team at Purser Grading shared these photos of their newest addition — proudly and adorably posed with the equipment that's part of their everyday operation.

It's a small moment, but it says a lot. Our customers don't just operate these machines; they build their livelihoods and their families' futures around them. When someone shares something this personal with us, it's a reminder of the trust they place in us and the pride they take in the brands they run.

Congrats to the whole Purser Grading team and welcome to the crew, little guy! We can't wait to see what he'll be running someday... hopefully a Volvo EC210, just like his dad!

Putting ALLU to the test on gypsum board. 💪

We paired a Volvo EC300 excavator with an ALLU DHA 4-17 Bucket (16 mm hybrid TS + Axe Blades) at our Concord Branch to see how it would handle gypsum board processing.

The target: getting material down to 1/2" or smaller. With around 250 tons processed each month and that volume growing, it's worth exploring what's possible without adding a separate mobile crusher to the mix.

Investing in the next generation of skilled operators.

The Georgia Highway Contractors Association hosted a Teacher Operator Training Day at Reeves' dirt pit in Brunswick, GA, earlier this summer, and it was all about investing in the future of our industry!

High school teachers from across Georgia came out to get hands-on, certified training on excavators and dozers. These educators lead construction operator classes in 30 high schools statewide, reaching 900+ students enrolled for the upcoming school year!

We were proud to be among the companies that participated to help get hands-on training in the machines.

Events like this ensure our teachers are equipped with the real-world skills and confidence to train the next generation of heavy equipment operators. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, equipment, and expertise to make this training day a success!
