We had the pleasure of heading down to South Carolina to visit the team at ESS Recycling to get an up-close look at their operation! 🙌

Watching their Sennebogen 835E and 825E work the yard was something else — two machines, one incredible operation. These material handlers are absolute workhorses and they did not disappoint.

Last week, our students competed at Georgia SkillsUSA, going head-to-head on real machines in front of real industry professionals. From articulated haulers to excavators, these competitors showed up, suited up, and proved that the trades are alive and thriving.

We couldn't be prouder of everyone who participated. The trades need talent, and events like are exactly how we develop it.

There’s a difference between a machine you try and a machine that stays in your fleet.

For Harrelson Construction, that decision has played out over time. They’ve put 10,000 to 15,000 tons through their LeeBoy 1000G, and it’s still a machine they rely on day to day.

When they added the 8510E, it wasn’t to replace what was already working. It was to take on more demanding work without giving up the consistency they were used to.

That’s usually how these decisions happen in the field. Not based on specs alone, but on what holds up over time and what crews actually want to keep running.

Not parked. Not used as a backup. Still moving material and still relied on to keep things running.

You don’t get to that point by accident. It takes a machine that holds up and a crew that stays on top of it over time.
