**Role Overview**:
As a Calibration and Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our heavy capacity scales are installed, calibrated, and repaired with precision. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.
· You'll encounter challenges that keep you engaged.
· Work environment can be physically demanding, occasionally dirty, and sometimes hot.
· Expect occasional travel (expenses covered by us).
· You won't be stuck in the same place every day.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Install and calibrate new equipment with utmost accuracy.
- Conduct on-site and in-house testing to ensure optimal functionality.
- Perform calibration and repair of customer-owned equipment to the highest standards.
- Drive the Heavy Capacity Testing Unit to and from job sites (Class B driver's license required).
- Maintain a clean driving record and pass a background check.
- Demonstrate excellent mechanical and electronic skills, utilizing various tools proficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers, representing the company professionally.
- Operate a PC, navigate Windows environments, and use field service software.
- Lift up to 50lbs comfortably and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Utilize your existing electronics and computer knowledge to excel in the role.

**Qualifications**:
- Class B driver's license (CDL preferred).
- Strong mechanical and electronic aptitude.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency with PC operation, Windows, internet, and email.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
- Zero tolerance for drugs - we are a drug-free workplace.
**Work Hours**:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Light overtime during the week, occasional weekends, and travel.
