Off-center turning on the manual lathe.

We’re putting a 1.25" brass round bar to the test today. With some careful setup and a simple part-off blade, we turned this stock into a custom spiral design. Proof that you don’t always need a CNC to get amazing, bespoke results.

Bigger IS Better! At the end of last year, we were presented with the opportunity to move into a neighboring building with 3-4 times the square footage we currently had, and we knew we had to take it. This move gave us the space to expand our offices and fabrication capabilities, and it increased our ability to collaborate with our clients, vendors and team members in a whole new way. We hope you enjoy this look at our new home from the outside… keep an eye out for some interior updates coming soon!

We worked with The Lagasse Group and Stern McCafferty Architects on this one-of-a-kind feature stair and steel and glass floors that span several stories as well as other metal features in this beautifully modernized Wellesley colonial home.

"By far the most noticeable feature inside the home is a multistory “spine” of blackened steel and glass, an assembly of floors, railings, and stair supports that extends from the basement all the way up to rooftop skylights. “It’s the crux of the design,” Stern says, “connecting the spaces together vertically and horizontally.” And, vitally, it allows natural light to pe*****te deep into the interior." - By Kyle Hoepner Boston Magazine
