We will be at the aamp show in 3 weeks! See you there!

We are about 3 weeks away from the start of our convention in Kansas City, and our Executive Director Chris Young has a brief message about some special guests that you may see:

"It is hard to believe that our 86th convention is just around the corner. I am excited for all of our members to be together and collaborate over a favorite beverage or meal. The convention continues to grow, and our trade show will again be the biggest we have ever had; I want to thank our supplier members for their support.

"I am excited about our partnerships that will bring extra people to our convention this year. Just like last year, AAMP will play host to the Meat Industry Hall of Fame induction ceremony, as well as an in-person meeting of the Meat and Poultry Processing Technical Assistance Group. This year, we also will be working with another industry partner, the American Meat Science Association (AMSA), and hosting some of their students during the convention. During the days leading up to our convention, AMSA will be hosting the National Student Leaders Connecting Conference in Kansas City. They will have more than 100 student leaders at their conference, and the students have been given the opportunity to attend our convention and take in the workshops and trade show. It is a great opportunity to expose more students to you, our members, and our side of the industry. Take a moment and welcome our visitors when you see them and make them feel a part of the AAMP family. This should be a great networking opportunity for all."
