Even the Texas heat can’t keep us from being outside! TEI alongside Harris County Precinct One took a walk along the Mercer Detention Basin last week as part of fieldwork for a feasibility study.

The Mercer Detention Basin project was recently completed by Harris County Flood Control District. The basin has a lot of natural beauty, including views of Cypress Creek. We are working with Precinct One on connecting the basin to the existing trail network near the Mercer Botanic Gardens.

Stay warm out there!

As we wait for the temps to heat back up, here are a few throwbacks of TEI projects when the weather was more... Houston-like. 🌞

- TEI working with local area kids on the Hillcroft Connect Community project.

- A biker enjoying a nice ride on TEI-designed Deussen Trail.
