We’re back at it after Labor Day week, and so are our employee giveaways!

We’ve been changing up the prizes each week to keep things interesting for the guys, and this week’s lineup has a little bit of everything.

A special ice chest filled with some fresh dove from this season, an ice cream gift card to help somebody cool off, a steakhouse gift card, and of course, a Tractor Supply gift card.

We work hard around here, and these drawings have become a fun way to recognize the people who keep JK Welding moving every day.

The prizes may change from week to week, but the reason behind it doesn’t.

The rose stems are complete, and they turned out better than we could have imagined.

From the curved stems and oversized leaves to the aluminum thorns running up the sides, there isn’t much that’s ordinary about this project.

And that’s exactly the kind of work that helps define JK Welding.

We aren’t limited to repetitive fabrication or projects where every answer is already on a blueprint. Give us something different, something challenging, or even an idea that needs to be figured out, and that’s when the experience and creativity of our team really show.

This project also means a little more to us because of Adam’s involvement in it. Metal artwork was one of his specialties, and this was one of the final projects he worked on after 16 years with JK Welding.

The stems are finished. Next up: the roses themselves.

Just wait until you see these completely assembled and installed.

Loading up the last arch and getting another big piece ready to hit the road!

What you’re looking at is actually only part of the finished structure. These two massive arches connect together to become one, but keeping them separated makes transportation and handling much more manageable.

Now let’s see how good everyone is at judging size from a photo.

Can you guess the overall length once both arches are connected?

Take a good look at John standing next to it for some perspective before you make your guess.

What are your plans for the week?

Around JK Welding, ours are pretty straightforward:

Work, work, and more work.

The shop is busy, projects are coming in, and we’re grateful for every bit of it.

You work hard to build a business, so when the work keeps coming through the doors, you don’t complain about being busy. You appreciate the opportunity, take care of your customers, and keep pushing forward.

Safety meetings aren’t just another box to check at JK Welding. They’re about getting everyone together, communicating, learning, and making sure we’re looking out for one another.

And lately, we’ve been adding a little something extra.

This week, we gave away a few more gift cards and some cash to the guys. Even our production supervisor was caught completely off guard when he heard his name called!

But our favorite part is looking around and seeing everyone laughing, smiling, and enjoying the moment together.

We work hard around here. It’s good to have a little fun together too.

These Texas temperatures have been crazy, and our guys have been out there working hard through the heat every day.

So we decided it was time for a cool-down.

We brought the Kona Ice truck out to JK Welding and treated the crew to some snow cones!

It’s a small way to say thank you to the people who keep showing up, working hard, and keeping our projects moving.

Work hard. Stay cool. And take care of your people.

The flowers officially have their stems.

Our team has the stems welded up, and we’re finishing the last few flowers before this unique aluminum project reaches completion.

Even in raw aluminum, these are already looking impressive. Once the finishing work and paint are complete, this project is going to look completely different.

From an image and an idea to massive metal flowers standing tall. This has been a fun one to watch come together.
