The Houston facility is certified by U.S.C.G., A.B.S., D.N.V., and LLOYDS, GL for repairs and Refurbishments of Lifeboats and Capsules. COAST GUARD CERTIFICATES (APPROVALS) covering lifeboats, davits, winches, fire-retardant resins, release hooks, rescue boats, and more. Alexander/Ryan’s New Lifeboat Division designs lifeboats and fast rescue vessels, complete with davits systems to meet your engineering specifications. Alexander/Ryan also provides a complete line of davit systems for davit launch type Life Rafts. Our Refurbishment Division provides service for the refurbishment and repair of lifesaving equipment, including lifeboats, davits and winches. Our Refurbishment Division also consists of a paint facility, fiberglass repair shop, fit, finish and inspection area as well as a winch testing tower. Alexander/Ryan has over 100 years of collective experience, combined with a staff of Global Offshore Technicians performing installations, testing, repairs, and inspections of lifeboats, davits, winches and capsules worldwide.
