I've had this idea for some time, I just didn't know what to do with it. When I found out my wife and I were expecting our second child, I needed a larger 4x4. With Land Cruiser heritage, a growing domestic aftermarket, and plentiful, clean examples available in the used market, I landed on the Lexus GX470. After a lot of time crawling around my rig installing suspension and a winch (among other
things), I noticed the factory front tow points were laughable. I needed something more sturdy. The only solution I initially found was to install an aftermarket bumper to gain the recovery points necessary to make a safe recovery. After some deeper digging, I stumbled on a few Australian fabricators that were making bolt on recovery points for factory bumpers. After lots of research, no one in the US was selling these. How could that be? Do I REALLY have to spend $1000+ on a bumper or ship some parts across the Pacific ocean to have heavy duty recover points? NOT ANYMORE. We designed, tested, and fabricated these recovery points right here in Houston, Texas. Our goal is to provide quality, American made products, at a price point that doesn't break the bank.
