Verizon: A Lesson in Broken Promises and Customer Frustration
I’ve had my share of subpar customer service experiences, but Verizon has taken it to a new level. From start to finish, it’s been nothing but lies, confusion, and countless wasted hours.
False Promises from the Start
When I switched to Verizon, I was told they would buy out my AT&T contract. I even have a text from the representative confirming this. But now, Verizon refuses to honor this agreement. It's incredibly frustrating to feel tricked by a company I trusted.
Ridiculous Billing Errors
Verizon managed to mess up my account by adding four extra lines I never requested. This mistake led to a bill of over $1,000! It took a grueling 4.5 hours on the phone to resolve this. Their sheer incompetence and lack of accountability were astounding.
Misleading Billing Estimates
Initially, I was assured my monthly bill would be around $200. Imagine my shock when I received a bill for over $600.00! It’s a classic bait-and-switch tactic that’s both unethical and infuriating.
Endless Hours Wasted
I’ve spent over 20 hours on the phone trying to resolve these issues. Each call is met with more runarounds and empty promises. The lack of effective customer service has made this a nightmare.
Verizon has wholly disregarded customer satisfaction, and its deceptive practices have caused unnecessary stress and frustration. If you’re considering switching to Verizon, think twice. Their promises might turn into your worst customer service experience.
