What a powerful journey! A team of Vortex Companies employees, along with our friends at Worldwide Power Products, traveled to the Le Entrada Copán region of Honduras with World Vision International to witness firsthand the impact that access to clean, reliable water can have on entire communities.

We listened to women share the daily challenges they face and the resilience required to overcome them. We heard directly from children about their lives, their hopes, and the hardships that come with limited water access. We saw communities where clean water systems are already transforming health, safety, education and opportunity — and we also visited communities preparing to receive reliable water infrastructure for the very first time.

Team Vortex’s contributions to the World Vision Program are coordinated by 21 captains throughout the company — and led by Courtney Swartzel — promoting the program, gathering gifts, and spearheading efforts to increase employee involvement. Because these gifts make a difference. Here and around the world, water is so much more than infrastructure: It grants dignity, health, opportunity, and hope.

We are grateful for the visionary leadership of CEO Michael Vellano in this initiative, and for the opportunity to support this mission. And we are proud to partner with organizations making lasting change possible. This journey left our team with renewed purpose and a deeper understanding of why this work matters.
