VSE and Timber Lane Utility District proudly celebrated the opening of the Breckenridge West Hike & Bike Trail last Thursday alongside esteemed guests!
This 1.14-mile multi-use concrete trail was designed to promote wellness, sustainability, and stronger community connections for the residents of Timber Lane Utility District.
This segment of hike and bike trail is part of the larger "Cypress Creek Greenway" system that will eventually connect to the existing Spring Creek Greenway Trails.
Located along Whittaker Way and Hirschfield Road, the trail adds to the outstanding outdoor amenities that Timber Lane has developed over the years and continues to expand. In addition to its recreational value, the project also allowed included important infrastructure improvements, such as an underground storm sewer pipe with modified inlets to enhance stormwater collection from the street.
