Haven’t posted in a while, so here is the update… First off, we would like to welcome Ripkey Racing to our family of dealers. They are having a great year at Mahoning Valley Speedway, and we are glad to be on board! Staying in PA, our driver Mark Martini has found a ride in the street stock division at the Mahoning Valley Speedway, and has been making progress with the new car and owner. As we have for years, Performance Synthetics will be riding along for his endeavors. Hell, we may even show up for a race or two this year!
Now to Long Island… starting with family, we welcome Matt McGrath to the Performance Synthetics family. Yes, Matt is our nephew so that was a no brainer. Matt debuted his Super Pro Truck at Riverhead Raceway this past Saturday, and we made the trip to be there. I am biased, but I must say he did an excellent job and will be one to watch in that division in the months and years to come. Now turning to Cj Lehmann and the Tour Modified.. unfortunately this year CJ is taking a sabbatical due to surgery early this year, but has been instrumental in getting Matt out on the track and in his ear as his spotter. CJ also has spotter duties for other teams at Riverhead and along with Scott Lehmann, have set ups in a bunch of cars in different divisions at Riverhead, and have spent countless hours working with everyone to win races.
As for us, we moved yet again, this time out of the Midwest and closer to the East Coast, so now we are a mere 12 hour drive away. We will continue to support all our customers and sponsored drivers from here and as always, we are here if anyone needs anything.

Happy to be a small part of this!!

What an AMAZING season we have had as a team! We are lucky to have 3 of the best drivers under the Ripkey Racing banner!

Won the regular season points with T.J. Gursky and the 57 and won the final feature and the Hall of Fame Street Stock Series points with Randy Ahner Jr. and the 55. T.J. Finished 2nd in the HOF series points and Mark Martini finished 6th in the 56 in the HOF series.

Fielding 3 cars was a lot of work for the guys, but with our awesome team and sponsors it couldn’t have ended much better.

All 3 cars finished in the top 8 in regular season points and all 3 were in the top 6 in The HOF series. What an accomplishment!

One more race to close out the season at the end of the month and hopefully add to the win total.

Thanks to everyone who lends a hand or just cheers the guys on!

As we all get ready for the 2021 racing season, I see race teams posting progress on their rides, sponsors posting about their drivers, crews getting excited, fans chomping at the bit to get into the stands, teams pitching to new prospective sponsors for funding, tracks posting their schedules and special events, all good stuff leading up to everyone’s opening day and keeping everyone in the loop creating excitement for the upcoming season, it keeps us all excited for the season.
The one thing that we see from some places is begging. It’s embarrassing to the sport, the racers, the fans, the sponsors, everyone. Please stop begging for car counts, asking who is coming, begging for sponsors, fans, everything. Learn to run your track, team, organization, whatever in a fashion to attract cars, fans, sponsors, and make your place or team one folks seek out. Begging didn’t a good look on anyone..

That being said, best of luck to all those who work their asses off getting a great and exciting schedule together and making folks look forward to the action rather than the freak shows!!
