This week ISS Expedition 57 Commander, Alex Gerst, and Expedition 57 crew member Serena Aunon-Chancellor came into the SES Alpha Dome to learn how to use sextants for star pair measurements. This is being tested on the ISS for potential consideration as a contingency navigation device for Orion. Pretty cool stuff and a unique use of the Dome!
