HVJ is proud to announce our partnership with Jacobs Solutions Inc. on the City of Austin’s Pilot K**b Water Line Project, providing geotechnical investigation services for the engineering, permitting, and construction of a critical 76,000-linear-foot water transmission main. This vital project will strengthen the region's water reliability and capacity, which are essential for the city's continued growth. It includes installing a 66-inch-diameter pipeline, navigating roadways and waterway crossings, installing system control appurtenances, and ensuring long-term durability through robust corrosion protection.

As geotechnical lead for this phase, HVJ is delivering the data and analysis needed to help build this essential infrastructure safely, efficiently, and to the highest engineering standards.

HVJ extends our congratulations to our valued client, the Texas Department of Transportation, for being named ENR’s 2026 Texas & Louisiana Owner of the Year!

This recognition highlights TxDOT’s transformative $104.2-billion Unified Transportation Program, which is fundamentally reshaping mobility, safety, and resilience across our state. As ENR stated, TxDOT is "building at a once-in-a-generation scale."

HVJ is proud to have partnered with TxDOT on the majority of the flagship projects that contributed to this award including the Harbor Bridge in Corpus Christi, the North Houston Highway Improvement Project (NHHIP) in Houston, the I-10 White Oak Bayou Elevation project in Houston, the I-35 Corridor in Central Texas, the I-10 Downtown Project in El Paso and the SH 6 Central BCS Expansion in College Station.

Delivering on projects of this scale takes massive vision and dedication. We are honored to provide the engineering expertise that helps TxDOT bring these critical infrastructure improvements to life for communities across Texas.

HVJ has been selected to provide geotechnical investigation, laboratory testing, and engineering analyses for the Nueces River Authority’s New Water for South Texas Project. The ambitious project is a regional seawater desalination and transmission initiative aimed at expanding potable water supply capacity. It is a critical project for securing the state's long-term water supply and making desalination a key part of Texas's water future.

Our extensive experience with large-diameter, long-distance waterline projects will be critical, as constructing a large-diameter pipeline in this corridor will be geotechnically complex. We look forward to conducting a comprehensive subsurface investigation and geotechnical characterization to mitigate risks and keep the project running smoothly. https://na2.hubs.ly/H04m8KX0
