Today, we remember Brian Wimbley II — a valued member of the Mason’s Mill & Lumber family and, most importantly, a friend.

We are deeply saddened by Brian’s passing. We will remember him for the person he was, the memories he shared with those around him, and the impact he made during his time with us.

Our hearts are with Brian’s family, friends, coworkers, and all those who loved him during this difficult time.

We invite you to read our tribute to Brian and join us in remembering his life.

The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library is one of those projects where the details really make an impact. From the architecture to the materials, everything works together to fit the landscape around it.

We’re proud to have played a part in the project, prefinishing Thermory® Benchmark Pine with CUTEK® Extreme in Smokey Gray here at Mason’s Mill.

A landmark project deserves materials that can stand up to the surrounding environment. The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota, is one of them.

Mason’s Mill was proud to prefinish the Thermory USA Benchmark Knotty Pine used throughout the project. Each board was finished in-house with CUTEK North America Extreme in Smokey Gray before making the trip from our Houston facility to the North Dakota Badlands.

The result is a durable, weather-ready finish that fits naturally into the Library’s rammed-earth walls, living roof, and surrounding landscape.

It’s a great example of what happens when the right materials, finishes, and partners come together.
