F150 10R80 in for a rebuild. 18-22 models have a well known CDF drum bushing failure which causes the bushing to rotate out of place causing damage to the seal and clutch destruction. Thankfully this customer brought it in during early symptoms before it damaged any other parts.

Raybestos GPZ clutches, custom valvebody mods, updated drum and new anodized shell and its back on the road.

10R60 from an Explorer ST in for complaints of very harsh 7-6 downshifts and general shift concerns. 2020-2022 units are prone to dislodging the A clutch snap ring which would cause the A clutches to be unable to disengage and bind causing unwanted engagement of #1 ring gear.

If you are having these issues you can remove the valvebody and visually inspect the snap ring location.

New updated return spring retainer and a full rebuild with valvebody pressure/shifting mods, updated TSB valvebody gasket plate, Raybestos GPZ clutches and more.

This is my personal vehicle running my stage 1 10r80 build (stock capacity). Most customers think more clutches = better but is not always the case. There is a ton we do to increase longevity/capacity outside of just increasing the clutch count.

This same trans has been installed for 3 years making 700-800hp, over 40k hard miles and is still going even at 900 with no signs of fatigue.

Powered by an ESS G3/100mm pulley and E85 partnering with Lawn Racing for their fuel system and tune.
