Our facility located in Houma, Louisiana consists of four testing laboratories, a heat treating department, warehouses, machine shop, welding shop, (machine and welding shops are used for sample preparation only), offices and complete reference library. A competent staff of highly qualified engineers (metallurgical, welding, and chemical) and lab technicians are reinforced by efficient office personnel. Our Quality Assurance Program satisfies the requirements of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Mil-Q-9858, and API-Q1; in addition, our compliance with 10CRF50-Appendix 50 qualifies us for nuclear work. Various companies with a broad range of expertise have approved our laboratory for metallurgical testing (failure analysis, chemical analysis (in house) positive material identification (PMI)(on site), physical testing, consulting, etc.) as well as for other major services such as testing and qualifying welders, weld consulting, written welding procedures; physical testing of welding procedures, weld test coupons and heat treating.
