Sinkholes are very prevalent in Kentucky and one of the many conditions that our engineers and geologists consider when making recommendations for a build.

Our senior Geotechnical Engineer, Steven Mortimer, P.E. was onsite in Western Kentucky to observe compaction grouting for the construction of a new middle school.

Compaction grouting involves the injection of mortar grout to rubble fills, poorly placed fills, loosened or collapsible soils, or sinkholes.
