Let's work together!
The natural river flows in the East Fork have dropped to 13.5 cfs which is historically low. To counter this drop and to get the cfs back to a minimum of 27cfs which is required to keep the diversion open. Efid has no choice but to cut back to 60 percent of are normal draw. This will disrupt flows throughout all of Efid and Mhid. Efid has 36 hours to adjust and hit the regulated amount. If everyone does not cut back the diversion is at risk of staying open. Comparison river was at 25 cfs Friday evening and this afternoon it dropped to 13.5 cfs with us cutting back over the weekend. We ask that after harvest you don’t turn back on and leave what water is left for juvenile trees and not water your lawns or unnecessary usage. Thank you and let’s work together there is only so much Efid can do without your assistance.
