Our team provided the full electrical design for the new 10,000 sqft Kona Farm Distillery located in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i. The electrical design features a food-grade production facility including a large copper distiller, a retail tasting space, office areas, and both roof- and ground-mounted photovoltaic systems.

To support the new facility, new underground utility infrastructure, electrical service and distribution systems, telecommunications, lighting, and fire alarm systems were incorporated into the electrical design. We’re grateful to be a part of projects like this that contribute to local industry and for the opportunity to continue supporting developments across Hawai’i’s neighboring islands.

This past weekend, we celebrated RNSHA’s 48th Anniversary at Aiea Bowl! It was a great evening of food, friendly competition, and time spent together as we marked another milestone. We’re especially appreciative of our team and the culture we’ve built over the years. Here’s to 48 years and many more to come!

We had the privilege of working with Design Partners Incorporated to bring affordable living to Kapolei. This new community offers a range of rental options including studios and 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom units. The new development also has recreation rooms, laundry facilities, and two early childhood education opportunities.

Our team provided the electrical engineering services to design safe, reliable power distribution lighting systems and the infrastructure that support the daily life in the community.

That’s a wrap on Engineers Week!

From kicking things off at the Hawaii Council of Engineering Societies Engineers Week dinner to hosting a company breakfast (thank you to Pancakes & Waffles in Kalihi!), this week was all about celebrating our team and the engineering profession. We added some fun with customizable whiteboard nameplates for our cubicles, and we closed out the week with some shave ice homemade by our team!

Our team recently took a company trip to Las Vegas—a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, connect outside the office, and celebrate the culture and success we’ve built together. We're honored to have worked on the full electrical design for and support Kaiāulu o Kūku‘ia as it opens its doors to the Lahaina community. This project is the first permanent affordable housing development to open in Lahaina since the 2023 wildfire. Right off of the Lahaina Bypass, this affordable housing project features 25 multi-family buildings consisting of 200 units, laundry rooms, and 2 community centers including the home for the Bezos Academy Maui-Lahaina preschool. Shoutout to the developer, Ikaika Ohana and the architect, Design Partners Incorporated, for the opportunity to join this amazing team and to help collaborate on such impactful work.
