We recently held our Annual Shareholder Meeting, bringing our team together to reflect on and celebrate another year of employee ownership.

The meeting gave us an opportunity to look back at our performance, reveal our latest valuation and share price, and recognize the role each employee plays in the success of our company. We also made time for some fun with games, activities, and plenty of team spirit!

Employee ownership is an important part of our culture at RNSHA, and are grateful to everyone who helps move our company forward. Mahalo to Natsunoya Tea House for hosting us and providing the wonderful catering, and to everyone who helped make this year’s meeting a memorable one!

Our team recently wrapped up the summer with a pau hana filled with good food and some friendly competition! From grilling to taking on our very own mini golf course, it was a great way to spend time together outside of work.

A special shoutout to our summer interns, who designed and planned the mini golf course as part of a hands-on project to introduce them to the structure and process of an engineering project, including meetings, project coordination, and “submittals”.

Our team participated in Protect & Preserve Hawaii's SuperChill Saturdays event in Pia Valley, where we helped remove invasive guinea grass and plant native Hawaiian species as part of ongoing efforts to restore and preserve our local environment.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community and support initiatives that help protect Hawaiʻi’s ʻāina for future generations. Mahalo to Protect & Preserve for organizing this meaningful event and to our team members who came out to lend a hand!

Our team provided the full electrical design for the new 10,000 sqft Kona Farm Distillery located in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i. The electrical design features a food-grade production facility including a large copper distiller, a retail tasting space, office areas, and both roof- and ground-mounted photovoltaic systems.

To support the new facility, new underground utility infrastructure, electrical service and distribution systems, telecommunications, lighting, and fire alarm systems were incorporated into the electrical design. We’re grateful to be a part of projects like this that contribute to local industry and for the opportunity to continue supporting developments across Hawai’i’s neighboring islands.

This past weekend, we celebrated RNSHA’s 48th Anniversary at Aiea Bowl! It was a great evening of food, friendly competition, and time spent together as we marked another milestone. We’re especially appreciative of our team and the culture we’ve built over the years. Here’s to 48 years and many more to come!

We had the privilege of working with Design Partners Incorporated to bring affordable living to Kapolei. This new community offers a range of rental options including studios and 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom units. The new development also has recreation rooms, laundry facilities, and two early childhood education opportunities.

Our team provided the electrical engineering services to design safe, reliable power distribution lighting systems and the infrastructure that support the daily life in the community.
