As some of you might know, after 40+ years in Hawai’i on O’ahu, I have decided terminated or not renewed Aloha Marketing’s independent rep contract with all manufacturers that Aloha Marketing was under contract with so that I could move to California to care for my parents so that they could age in place at their home of some 40 years.

I want to let all that I have work with while operating Aloha Marketing I appreciate the opportunity I had to work with you and represent your products.

On, to semi-retirement and I say semi as I am available as a consultant for concrete repair, restoration and waterproofing of commercial buildings and properties. There’s nothing concrete that I can’t design a restoration of.

Loco Moco CA easy style chili with 2 cans chili with beans, 1 can black beans, 1 can refried beans, 2 cups salsa@then seasoning to taste. I used Santa Maria seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper.

Need to use more concrete, masonry and ICF all of which can be manufactured in Hawaii. Need to look to materials with shipping advantages like composite rebar now that some of these rebar have been approved for structural use. Use local byproduct aggregate for foundation sub-base in geotextile grids instead of fresh quarried crush rock. Composite siding and wood replacement products could be made in Hawaii and this could reduce the shipping of wood or wood substitute products. I’d welcome the opportunity to share more but ideas like these that could change and sustain jobs and safer buildings moving forward.

These 2 products could have replaced sugar cane and pineapple and reduced shipping to Hawaii because we’d be producing 2 great buildings materials here in Hawaii but at some point these products would need to be exported but, that is probably not economically feasible, because of the Jones Act.
