There’s a lot more behind a Kubota compact track loader than what you see on the jobsite.

Kubota recently shared a look inside its Salina, Kansas operation, where the SVL65-2 and SVL75-3 are built — and the scale of it is pretty incredible.

The facility now spans roughly 1 million square feet, processes up to 9,500 parts and more than 117,000 pounds of steel every day, and brings each machine through fabrication, welding, paint, assembly, inspection and testing before it ever heads to a customer. Kubota has also invested heavily in expanding the operation, with investments planned through 2027 totaling $277 million.

It’s a pretty cool look at the people, technology and manufacturing behind the orange equipment we see working every day.
