Our fab shop is growing — and so is what we can take on. 🔧

Velocity Metalworks is expanding fabrication at our Belleville facility, moving in additional press brakes and adding complete equipment groupings to build out capacity for customers who need more than one process under one roof.

Shearing. Forming. Welding — including our OTC Daihen robotic welder. Assembly. Finishing. Everything in between.

Brackets, shims, weldments, complex assemblies — prototype through production, from a shop willing to figure it out.

One partner. Start to finish.

🎉 Congratulations, Cort!

We’re proud to celebrate Cort on completing his Tool & Die Maker Apprenticeship!

Our Belleville team marked this important milestone by presenting Cort with his certificate — and, of course, celebrating with some well-earned cake. 🎂

This accomplishment is especially meaningful to us because the apprenticeship program was developed by Velocity Metalworks in partnership with Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) to combine classroom education with hands-on training and mentorship from experienced tool & die professionals.

Cort joined Velocity as our youngest employee, and we’ve had the opportunity to watch him learn, develop his skills and grow into a talented tradesman.

At Velocity, we believe strongly in investing in the next generation of skilled tradespeople. Programs like this create a pathway for young people to build rewarding careers while developing the highly technical skills that are essential to the future of American manufacturing.

Congratulations, Cort! We’re proud of this accomplishment and excited to see where your career takes you next at Velocity Metalworks. 🇺🇸

The machines are impressive. The people running them are the reason we're still here. 🤝
For over 50 years, Velocity Metalworks has been built on skilled tradespeople who take their work seriously — toolmakers, machinists, welders, and fabricators who show up every day and hold the standard.
We're proud of the team on this shop floor. And we're always looking to add to it.

Quality isn't something we hope for — it's something we build in. ✅
Velocity Metalworks is ISO 9001:2015 certified, which means every part we produce is backed by documented processes, rigorous inspection, and a quality management system built for repeatability. For procurement managers and engineers sourcing critical components, that certification isn't a checkbox — it's a guarantee.
When the part has to be right every time, you need a partner whose quality system is built to match.

Showing Up for Each Other

This morning reminded us of something the Velocity team has spent the last several months discovering together through conversations across our organization—the kind of company we want Velocity Metalworks to be.

Twelve team members from our Belleville and Hoffman facilities volunteered their time to complete CPR, AED, and First Aid training together.

We're also grateful to have received a grant that provided two Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)—one now installed at each of our facilities. Combined with the knowledge and confidence gained through today's training, we're better prepared to respond when someone needs help most.

Watching our team invest their time to learn skills that could one day save a coworker, family member, friend, or even a complete stranger reinforced something we've come to know about our people.

Today, our team didn't just learn lifesaving skills—they demonstrated the kind of culture we've built together: one where we show up for each other.

We're incredibly proud of these employees for stepping forward and grateful to our instructor for an outstanding training session.

As we continue shaping the future of Velocity Metalworks, moments like these remind us that a great company isn't built by machines or buildings—it's built by people who genuinely care about one another.

❤️ Thank you to everyone who participated today. Together, we're building something special.

Some jobs need more than close — they need EXACT ⚙️

At Velocity Metalworks, our precision machining operation runs Mazak and Okuma CNC machining centers, Doosan lathes, and a lineup built for the tolerances modern manufacturing demands.

Complex geometries.
Tight specs.
Materials that don't forgive shortcuts.

And because it's all under one roof alongside our stamping, welding, and fabrication capabilities, we can take a project from raw material to finished part without handing it off.

That's the Velocity difference.
