Lucky Services was founded in June 1986 in Hobbs, NM, by Dwayne Taylor, in tribute to his father. It started with a single pulling unit and a dedicated team of seven employees, specializing in well services and workovers.

Today, Lucky provides an extensive array of services and equipment, including pulling units, fishing and rental tools, reverse units, pickup/laydown machines, manual and hydraulic BOPs, kill trucks, winch trucks, frac tanks, alongside various safety services, training, equipment, and supplies. Lucky Rental Tool began operations in October of 2003 in Hobbs, NM, with four reverse units and six employees. Today the company also has a location in Midland, TX.
