A super clean 1st gen 4runner with a diesel came in on leaf springs and some mods already performed like spring over kit and an axle truss, but was looking for a better ride and performance. We did a trailgear three link front kit using new links paired with trailgear creeper joints, fully plated frame using a custom frame side panhard mount paired with a custom track bar, shock hoops with fox coilovers along with outbound axle side shock mounts, transmission mount, reworked the exhaust, shock hoops and shock mounts along with a laundry list of small tasks to get this rig performing better than it was.

Man what a transformation we performed on this car. Started as a nice Jesse Haines goat built car and we personalized it to suit the customer with a makeover. Lots of subtle changes as well as a couple of big changes. A few of the key points, we removed and replaced the door bars along with rear intrusion bars, added rock sliders and boat sides with 1/2” UHMW attached to the boat sides and main skid plate. Re worked the floor aluminum and added a rear firewall. Changed all four shock mount locations on the car while we installed our Huffmans fab 9” axle housings with outers front and rear with rear steer while sporting 40spl branik shafts and joints with Yukon third members. As we started with the upgrades we re-worked the rear tubes to add the mojab rear suck down winch and rear storage with a nice aluminum tray. Installed a new roof and side panels with sea decking for a nice touch to outfit the changes. To top it off Richard designed the wrap that really sets the car off to make it one of a kind.

A set of front and rear steer 72” wms we recently finished up. Using our in house axle housings with supwrduty knuckles, in house front ram mount and truss, rear back bone truss, along with custom rear ram mount. These axles are outfitted with Yukon centers, 40 spline shafts with branik joints, Ecgs drive flanges, Huffmans fab pinion yoke guards, psc 3x9 rams with lm1 captured mounts, busted knuckle king joints and Mofab zero Ackerman high steer on all four corners with wilwood brakes.

Finished out a roller using our Huffmans fab cnc chassis, sitting on radflo 2.5” coilovers with 72” wms in house axles with the rear using crane unit bearing cups with a full internally gusseted back bone truss. The front using 05+ superduty knuckles with a beefy ram mount. We performed link mounts, shock mounts, links bars, bump stop cans and bump pads on axles, drivetrain mounts set up for ls, th350. Finished off with aluminum work consisting of roof, side panels, and a full floor, rear firewall, and engine / trans cover.
