We’re proud to support the City of Folkston through the GEFA Helene Resilience Funding program, helping enhance infrastructure resilience following recent storm impacts.

Proposed improvements include:
• New drinking water well and system power & telemetry upgrades
• Lift station generators and monitoring system enhancements

These upgrades will strengthen reliability, improve system monitoring, and ensure continued service during emergencies.

Please join us in congratulating Cody Messex and his wife on the arrival of their first child, Henry Isaiah Messex! 💙 Henry made his debut on Wednesday, May 27, weighing 9 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 21 inches long.

Through the GEFA Helene Resilience Funding program, we’re proud to support the City of Pembroke with critical infrastructure improvements designed to strengthen both water and wastewater systems.

Proposed projects include:
• New drinking water well and backup power generators
• Elevated storage tank and waterline extensions
• Lift station backup generators and system telemetry upgrades

These improvements will help increase system reliability, expand capacity, and ensure continuous service—especially during future storm events.

In the wake of recent storm impacts, communities across Georgia are taking important steps to build stronger, more resilient infrastructure, and we’re proud to be part of that effort. M.E. Sack Engineering has submitted 17 projects through the GEFA Helene Resilience Funding program, representing more than $50 million in critical infrastructure improvements.

These projects are designed to:
• Strengthen water and wastewater systems
• Improve reliability and service capacity
• Protect public health and the environment
• Enhance resilience against future storm events

With over $40 million in principal forgiveness requested and additional zero-interest funding, this initiative reflects a major investment in the long-term strength of the communities we serve. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be spotlighting each community and the projects helping them move forward—stronger than before.
