Through the GEFA Helene Resilience Funding program, we’re supporting the City of Lyons with infrastructure improvements that will strengthen both reliability and future capacity.

Proposed projects include:
• Waterline looping and system replacements
• Pump station upgrades
• Installation of backup generators

These enhancements will help improve service delivery, support growth, and increase resilience during future storm events.

We’re proud to partner with the City of Darien through the GEFA Helene Resilience Funding program to support critical wastewater system improvements.

Proposed projects include:
• Pump Station Expansion along New River Road
• Pump Station Improvements at Public Works
• Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades and Repairs

These improvements will increase system efficiency, strengthen reliability, and ensure continuity of service during severe weather events.

Through the GEFA Helene Resilience Funding program, we’re working alongside the City of Wadley to strengthen essential infrastructure and prepare for future growth.

Proposed projects include:
• New drinking water well, backup power, & system telemetry upgrades
• Flood zone lift station improvements and site stabilization
• Backup generators and system upgrades across multiple lift stations

These improvements will enhance reliability, reduce flood risk impacts, and support long-term system performance.

Please join us in congratulating Cody Messex and his wife on the arrival of their first child, Henry Isaiah Messex! 💙 Henry made his debut on Wednesday, May 27, weighing 9 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 21 inches long.
