Bigger projects call for bigger equipment. This upgrade has been in the works since we moved into our new building, and we finally made it happen — our new coating booth is complete. Hard to believe that just 4.5 years ago I was building my first 8’x8’ booth out of poster board. We’re continuing to invest in our facility so we can better serve our customers every step of the way.

Something hit me this week while troubleshooting an issue we hadn’t faced once in our 4 years of coating.

It reminded me how deeply connected our industrial/manufacturing work is to our custom finishes.

Here’s the thing:
Any shop can redo a custom part until they’re happy with it.
But not every shop holds themselves to the standard of getting it right the first time — because they’ve mastered their entire process.

At our shop, we don’t just aim for a perfect finish — we demand a perfect process. That’s what large-scale production for manufacturers teaches you. It’s not about trial and error. It’s about consistency, control, and eliminating variables before they ever cause a blemish or a redo.

That same discipline carries over to every one-off custom project we touch. We’ve trained ourselves to spot a problem before it moves to the next step. And when something’s off — we know it.

From individuals to manufacturers, our standard never changes.
This is what professionalism looks like in our industry — and we stand behind every finish.

🙌 Cole’s Coatings LLC, in collaboration with JobsOhio, Ohio SE, and Highland County Ohio-Economic Development, today announced an investment of over $70,000 to renovate its new facility in Hillsboro, Ohio.

Operating since 2021, Cole’s Coatings is a powder coating shop serving individuals and manufacturers in Highland County and the surrounding area. The company offers powder coating for metal surfaces and certified Cerakote services for fi****ms and automotive parts.

"This expansion represents more than just a new building—it’s the result of years of hard work, long hours, and the determination to build something from the ground up,” said Cole Garlesky, Owner of Cole’s Coatings LLC. “Like many business owners, we’ve faced our share of challenges, but with the support of our community, partners like JobsOhio and Ohio SE, and a lot of grit, we’ve made it here.
