It's back-to-school season! 📚🍁

One of our favorite things about being part of the maple industry is getting to bring maple sugaring into the classroom.

There's so much students can learn from agriculture, the environment, and the science behind sap flow and evaporation.

We love getting to share maple with the next generation and help make those connections along the way. We're looking forward to another year of learning and, of course, maple syrup taste-testing!

We’re excited to continue our support of Seno K/RLT Conservancy and their new Woodland StoryWalk feature. 🌲📖

StoryWalk brings reading outdoors, with pages of a book placed along a trail so families can read as they walk.

We love seeing programs that connect kids with nature, and we’re grateful to be part of what Seno is building for the community.

Seno's first StoryWalk is on September 12.

We spend a lot of time thinking about the things that might not be obvious at first glance. The way something is welded, how a handle is positioned or how a component fits into the bigger system can make a difference when you're actually using it.

A lot of those details come from years of listening to maple producers and learning what works best. We're grateful to everyone who shares their feedback, asks questions and helps us keep improving what we build.

If you received an email from us today with the subject "New Approved Statement From Smoky Lake Maple" and a link to view a document — it didn't come from us. Please just delete it.

One of our email accounts got caught by a phishing scam that's been making the rounds in the maple industry. We caught it fast and the account is locked back down.
