Our beloved Mom, Meme, wife, friend, coworker, and business owner passed on December 27th. She treated everyone she met like family and welcomed anyone with a smile. The impact her friendly face made on all of us is something that doesn’t happen twice. We would not be here without the dream, passion, work ethic, and support Cathy and Larry have dedicated since 1988.

M&M Welding will be closing at 12:00pm Wednesday, December 31st to honor Cathy at her service. We will reopen Monday, January 5th.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 PM at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home at 122 West Main Street, Thomasville, NC 27360. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

In honor of Cathy’s giving heart, memorial donations may be made to a children’s charity of your choice.

We appreciate all of the constant love and support during this time.

M&M has added to our fleet once again. We are now the proud owners of a link belt 8675. We are hoping this will open up opportunities for us to further assist in all your projects. A brief overview of the crane:

75 ton lifting capacity
115 ft of main boom
61ft bi-fold jib
All inspections up to date
And fully licensed CCO operator

Crane is now available for scheduling. Let M&M be the ones to take your projects to the next level. No job too big or too small.

Many of our neighbors in the beautiful North Carolina Mountains still need our support and love in the upcoming months!
With cold winder months quickly approaching, there are thousands that are still in need of supplies.

While essential supplies are always appreciated, we have composed a list of ideas to help our community withstand the future change in weather.

M&M Welding will be conducting a winter relief drive for Hurricane Helen Victims. Any and all donations are extremely appreciated!! We will be accepting donations until 4:30 Friday November 8th.

We are extremely grateful for the amazing turn out we had last time, and we hope this drive will turn out even bigger and be able to help even more people and families in need!

We want to send a huge THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who made this possible!! We are so thankful for the turnout we had with our Hurricane Helene Relief drive.

Our original plan to take the donations to the Statesville airport was changed due to logistics reasons. We ultimately ended up at Revol Church in Asheville. We met a few amazing volunteers at this church and were able to actually see the heroic acts the folks were doing. We were able to see resources loaded onto truck and trailers to be taken further up the mountain to those in need. We are confident your donations ended up exactly where they were meant to, to help the ones that need it the most ❤️

Thank you all for coming together to help our neighbors and for the reminder of the kind souls that are still in the world ❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated!! Everything is so so much appreciated. We are truly in awe of the generosity, kindness, and empathy that is still in the world, and it warms our hearts ❤️

• Protein bars & shakes

• First aid supplies / OTC medications

M&M Welding will be conducting a relief drive for victims of Hurricane Helene who have experienced the unimaginable. Our heart breaks for these people and families and we want to do anything we can to help our neighbors.

All donations will be hand delivered to the Statesville Airport where individuals are actively delivering these items to people in need.

This is made possible by individuals such as Greg Biffle and Garrett Mitchell (Cleetus McFarland) as well as many other private owners who are graciously offering their helicopters and other equipment to deliver these supplies to affected areas.

There is also a Venmo set up to help provide fuel for these aircrafts if anyone would prefer to donate that way. The Venmo can be found at Greg-Biffle (posted in the comments).

Any donations are extremely appreciated and we are moved by the way our community comes together in a time of need!

Just finished up this vinyl decal on our service trailer! Aside from all of your welding and fabrication needs, we also have the capabilities to create vinyl stickers and decals! We have a 5 foot printer, laminator, and cutter and we do all of this in house.
